your artwork, we will contact you. Definitions Bitmap - A bitmap image is made up of dots or pixels. The number of pixels in the image determines the resolution of the image. If a bitmap image is enlarged, it tends to look worse. Bitmap images should be at least 300 DPI. The image to be engraved cannot be larger than the bitmap itself. 600 DPI is preferred for best results.
